I don’t thionk there’s a guideline, you can recline it and everything. Just be sure he is strapped in good!

go ahead and do it and just make sure you have like a blanket to help prop him up and keep him still

You could put him in the stroller already..without the car seat..
Just don’t sit him all the way up..

As long as you can recline the seat, go for it.

No real guide but I waited till my son could sit up on his own. I was the opposite. I dreaded taking him out of the car seat. It was so convenient. I loved that if he was sleeping I could just take out the car and move him to the stroller. So I guess he was 6 months old to answer your question.

There’s no guideline…you can do it when you are comfortable. I took my baby out in just his stroller at 1 month.

my daughter is 2 weeks old and she loves being in her stoller. as long as it goes down and your baby isnt in an uncomfortable position it should be fine.

I know exactally how you feel. I went to Florida for a family vacation when my daughter was 8 weeks old. I wanted to put her just in the stroller portion of the stroller because I felt like she was going to be so hot and uncomfortable if I put her in her car seat too. So at 8 weeks old I put her in the stroller part and she was fine. I just made sure she was strapped in good and I reclined the seat back. She loved it and I have been just putting her in the stroller part ever since. She is now 5 1/2 month. Good luck and I am sure he will be just fine!!!!

They are designed from newborn and the idea of the car seat that attaches is that if your travelling by car and your baby is asleep or if it’s just for a short time you can just place the car seat on the pushchair a newborn baby should lye flat if in a pushchair for long periods of time i.e more than half an hour so it’s o.k to have your baby in the stroller. leaving new born babies in car seats for long periods of time can damage their spine.

u know what i never used it with the carseat, it was too much for me and i was on the bus so it was easier to just put her it the stroller. i just laid it all the way back and strapped her in(mind up she was 8 lbs at birth and really big too) so she fit just fine

I put my daughter in hers without the carseat when she was that age. Recline the back down as far as it can do and make sure to strap him in good.

i dont think there is a guideline about how old or how much your baby weighs before just putting them in the stroller itself. i put my son in it when he was just two months old. the stroller reclines, so as long as your baby is strapped in nice and tight (not too tight) then you’re good to go.
When it comes to safety you can’t be too careful. Here are some safety tips to keep in mind when using a stroller:
Always use the safety belt to secure your baby or toddler in the stroller. Most come with a three or five point safety harness. A five point is the safest particularly for newborns.
Be sure you recline the seat if your baby is less than 6 months old.
Remember to lock the wheels of your stroller when paused to prevent the stroller from rolling away with your baby resting in it.
Check to see if your stroller has a locking mechanism to prevent it from folding up when your children are inside.
If you have a jogging stroller, use the tether, which is a loose strap that prevents the stroller from getting away when you are jogging down a hill
Remember to always supervise your children when they are in a stroller.
Avoid hanging heavy objects on the handlebars, which might cause the stroller to tip backwards.

I have a Graco and my daughter has been comfortable in just the stroller part since she was approx 12lb. She was much comfier lying flat but can now hold her head really well and enjoys looking around so I have started to put the seat up for her – she’s approx 15-16lb now…
