is an isofix carseat safer than normal carseat? the car im purchasing has isofix. my child is 12 mths old?

ISOFIX is safer? (Of course, it’s worth more for the security). . . or the normal seats is just as safe? I was interested in the Maxi Cosi Priori Convertible

      Yes, it is safer, rather the the child seat being held by a seat belt, ISOFIX anchors the car seat to the cars chassis, so it wont budge in the event of an accident. much safer.

      Isofix/LATCH is not inherently safer. It’s supposed to be easier for parents to install a carseat with it than the seatbelt.
